Women Growing in Faith is a ministry at Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish created and developed by women for women. Our vision is to provide adult women from all stages and vocations of life the opportunity to grow with correct teachings, insight, and material about the Catholic Church. Our hope is that Women Growing in Faith will be an easy way for women to connect (or reconnect) with the beauty of our Catholic faith and with our beautiful community of Catholic women. We aim to provide an easily accessible venue to inform and educate participants with resources and information to inspire, motivate, encourage and support them in their personal faith journey.

June 14th ~ Geralyn Ballo

"The Holy Face of Jesus Devotion"

This month we welcome Geralyn Ballo to share with us the Archconfraternity and Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. Earlier this year the topic of Fr. Nathe’s Pastor’s Column was “The Holy”. (See the March 30th Pastor’s Column). The following week, Geralyn introduced the Devotion to our Holy Redeemer family in a special presentation.

This devotion was St Therese of Lisieux’s most powerful of all devotions; in fact, in her title she is known as St Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face. Many graces and miracles are attributed to this very special devotion.

We are excited to invite Geralyn back this month to hear updates from the Archconfraternity and how to participate in the Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus.
